Crossware offers a variety of field types that allow you to dynamically personalise and enhance your email signatures. These fields are grouped into four main categories:
Directory Fields
These fields pull data directly from your organisation’s directory, such as Microsoft 365 or Active Directory. Common examples include user display name, job title, phone number, or department. Directory fields ensure your signatures stay up to date as user information changes.
Formula Fields
Formula fields allow you to manipulate and customise directory data using C# scripting. These are ideal for applying logic. For example, displaying a mobile number only if one exists, or formatting full names based on specific rules. Formula fields provide powerful flexibility for creating tailored signature content.
Image Fields
Image fields are used to insert images into your signature layout, but can also be referenced in formula fields allowing even more customisability. These can include company logos, banners, certification badges, or social media icons. You can upload custom images to ensure consistent branding across all outgoing emails.
QR Code
QR code fields generate scannable codes within the signature. These can link to a variety of destinations such as a company website, contact card (vCard), promotional landing page, or social media profile. QR codes offer a modern and convenient way to connect recipients with your digital content.
