Pilot Release: Custom Fields in Crossware Me

We have released the pilot version of Custom Fields, giving organisations the ability to let end users update selected field values directly through Crossware Me.

Administrators can choose which fields are available for editing, helping organisations keep user profile information accurate while maintaining control over which values can be updated.

• Fixed an issue where forwarded and replied email headers were not correctly detected when the From field appeared in Danish. Support has been added for the Danish header value Fra to ensure forward and reply strings are processed correctly.

• Fixed an issue where Outlook for iOS users were seeing the message: Please sign in using the task pane to use Dynamic Signatures.

• Fixed issues with signature caching behaviour and oversized signature validation across Outlook clients.

This release improves how signatures are displayed and applied when using client-side signature assignments and the Select feature.

• Users without a server-side signature assignment will now see signatures assigned through client-side assignments in the signature panel.

• Updated the messaging from No signature found to No default signature assigned when no server-side signature is assigned and no default signature has been selected on the panel.

Important notes:

• When both server-side and client-side signatures are assigned, the signature panel will continue to display both, maintaining existing behaviour.

• Auto Insert will not insert a signature if (this is existing behaviour):

  • The user does not have a server-side signature assigned, and

  • No default signature has been selected in the signature panel.

• When the Select feature is disabled, the signature panel will only display server-side signatures.

• If Select is disabled and the user has no server-side signature assigned, no signatures will be displayed in the panel, even if client-side signatures are assigned.

Dynamic Signatures ( UI Version - 1.0.0.734 and API Version 2.0.0.433)

• Improved the Outlook add-in to retrieve the latest Feature Flag and Admin Settings updates whenever the panel loads, the reload button is clicked, or the Settings panel is opened.

• Fixed an issue where Admin Settings changes made by one user could take up to 24 hours to appear for other users.

• Updated the Settings page to always retrieve the latest Admin Settings when opened.

• Fixed an issue where the window would remain open after saving a newly created Rule in Block Settings.

• Updated the save behaviour on the Rules and Modifiers pages to align with the Fields page behaviour. Users will now remain on the current panel after saving instead of being redirected or having the panel close.
