Client-Side Signatures Settings

Overview

The Dynamic Signatures Settings Panel allows both users and administrators to customise how Dynamic Signatures behave within Outlook. These settings determine which signatures are inserted automatically, how messages are displayed, and how feature updates are handled.

Individual User Settings

These options allow each user to tailor how Dynamic Signatures behave for their own Outlook profile.

Initial Signature

If your signature contains both an internal and an external block, select which version Dynamic Signatures should automatically insert when you create a new email.

Signature to Use

Choose which set of signatures Dynamic Signatures should load:

  • From Field User – Signatures assigned to the user selected in the From field.

  • Current Mailbox – Signatures belonging to the mailbox you are currently focused on or sending from.

  • Logged-in User – Signatures assigned to the user currently logged into Outlook.

Display Messaging

Toggle the Dynamic Signature messages shown at the top of your email. These messages help indicate which signatures have been selected or applied.

Refresh Available Features

If your administrator has added or removed features in the Crossware Portal and these are not yet visible, click Refresh Available Features. This forces a sync so Dynamic Signatures can load the latest features assigned to you.

Admin Settings

Organisation-wide defaults can be configured by administrators. Individual user preferences will override these settings if changed in the user’s own settings panel.

Default Initial Signature

Select which version (internal or external) will be used by default when users compose a new email.
Users who have chosen their own preference under Individual Settings will override the admin default.

Display Messaging (Default)

Enable or disable the Dynamic Signature messages across the organisation.
As with other settings, a user’s individual preference will override the organisation-wide setting.
