The Esig Task is a Domino server addition that is used for communication with the application (DLL/Shared Library) and for processing Local Signatures.
The task does not need be left running during normal operation of the Signature application. The commands below are self terminating so can be issued from the server at anytime.
There are several commands that the task will accept:

load esig disableuser -Used for Disabling users existing email signatures -
load esig version- Displays the version of the application and the esig task -
load esig validate- Used for checking licenses (see Install your license) -
load esig builduserview- Used for building the User Cache for LDAP Lookups -
load esig client- Used for controlling Local Signatures
